Job description
The Strategy Consultant ā ATIOS (Accenture Trading, Investment and Optimization) is a mid-level client-facing role responsible for managing strategic consulting engagements within capital and commodity markets. The consultant will lead project teams to solve complex business challenges, including strategy formulation, growth planning, investment optimization, and operational transformation. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and commercial awareness to help clients reinvent and optimize their business models in response to evolving global market dynamics. The consultant will also contribute to Accentureās practice development through thought leadership, mentoring, and client relationship management. The role offers exposure to high-impact projects across energy, utilities, capital markets, and commodities, with opportunities for growth and cross-regional collaboration.

Key responsibilities
- Manage strategy consulting projects or workstreams focused on trading, investment, and optimization within capital or commodity markets.
- Develop actionable recommendations through detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis to help clients identify value creation opportunities.
- Lead client workshops and interviews to define strategic priorities and align stakeholders on transformation objectives.
- Deliver comprehensive business strategies, operating models, and process improvement initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
- Conduct financial modeling, business case development, and ROI analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, commodity cycles, and macroeconomic indicators to inform client recommendations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary Accenture teams (data, analytics, digital, and industry experts) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Support and guide analysts and consultants, fostering development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Build and sustain executive-level relationships by maintaining deep understanding of client challenges and priorities.
- Develop and present thought leadership content, proposals, and strategic presentations for business development.
- Contribute to the ATIOS practiceās growth through asset creation, methodology enhancement, and market positioning initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of transformation programs.
- Drive continuous improvement in consulting frameworks, knowledge management, and innovation initiatives.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline (Masterās preferred).
- 4ā8 years of professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting or a related role in the capital or commodity markets sector.
- Strong understanding of global market operations, including energy, utilities, agriculture, metals, mining, or capital markets (equities, fixed income, alternatives).
- Demonstrated experience in client management, project delivery, and leadership of small consulting teams.
- Proficiency in quantitative modeling tools (Excel, VBA) and data analysis methodologies.
- Experience in financial analysis, valuation, and business case development.
- Strong familiarity with strategic frameworks, process design, and operating model development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to digital strategy, analytics, or applied intelligence solutions is a strong advantage.
- Arabic language skills preferred; fluency in English required.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment and deliver under pressure.
