Job description
In this role you will have responsibility for site change and project management, peak readiness playbook, fixed cost and procurement, creating and leading a Continuous Improvement culture through regular Kaizen and Gemba activities, and managing site special events such as site visits, Town Halls, and trainings. You will support the day-to-day management of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Shift Managers, Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants, and Delivery Service Providers, and manage external agency relationships and performance. You are responsible for overseeing the Station Project Road Map and reporting progress to the site leader, and ensuring timely closure of the Peak Readiness Playbook while providing inputs to the Network Control Manager. Your responsibilities include thinking analytically about project management with attention to detail, and being obsessed by metrics, diving deep to find root causes quickly to drive improvements. You will find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality, and you are responsible for providing day-to-day support during the rollout and implementation of newer systems and processes, gathering feedback along the way. You will map business requirements, understand business processes, and study and analyze workflows to design solutions. In this role you will continuously utilize software and hardware tools to ensure normal day-to-day operations, ensuring associates have proper tools to perform their jobs and coordinating repair or replacement when needed. You will also communicate daily metrics and report exceptions.

- Bring 2 or more years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience, reflecting the role's heavy emphasis on being metrics-driven and diagnosing root causes quickly
- Demonstrate experience or comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and ever-changing environments, with backgrounds in manufacturing, the military, or engineering specifically called out as relevant preparation for this kind of operational intensity
