Job description
Instrumentation and control design on ADNOC Onshore projects has to be right before anything is built, and this Abu Dhabi-based senior engineer is the technical expert making sure it is. Much of the work starts with preparing scopes of work for external consultants and EPC contractors. Their design works and studies then come back to you for review against technical requirements and standards, along with drawings, specifications and technical documents for approval. Calculations for design validation and optimisation are part of the routine, and value-added engineering should run through every assigned job. Engineering Procedures, Company standards, Technical Specifications, Design Philosophies and Engineering Guidelines also benefit from your input and updates. Vendor and supplier deviations or non-compliance requests submitted by the project PMC need a Technical authority review before they can be accepted. Other discipline engineers, business units, Operations and contractors rely on you to resolve technical issues and manage interfaces. A Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics or Control Engineering and 8 years of experience in the same field are required.
