Job description
The PMO Senior Specialist at Tamara is responsible for leading and coordinating high-impact projects within the Communications function, ensuring operational excellence, strategic planning, and execution across internal teams and external vendors. The role involves end-to-end project delivery, management of multiple parallel workstreams, and tight alignment with cross-functional partners including Product, Finance, Legal, IT, Design, HR, as well as executive leadership and the CEO Office. The specialist is accountable for orchestrating agency and vendor relations, contract lifecycle management, budgeting, billing, and financial stewardship, with high precision and autonomy. The role requires building scalable operational frameworks, establishing documentation and reporting standards as a single source of truth, and ensuring integrity and quality in planning cycles, annual budgeting, and OKR processes. The position emphasizes strategic facilitation, stakeholder alignment, and synthesizing complex data into persuasive narratives. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in strategic project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional communication, thriving in ambiguous, high-pressure, and fast-moving environments, with an owner mindset and the ability to independently drive initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects and special initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholder relations, and output quality
- Manage multiple parallel workstreams and ensure alignment across cross-functional partners and leadership
- Lead analytical and negotiation processes with agencies and vendors, defining scope, refining performance metrics, and ensuring strategic commercial alignment
- Drive operational aspects of annual planning, budgeting, and OKR processes, ensuring data integrity and quality of materials for executive leadership and CEO Office
- Proactively manage stakeholder alignment, ensuring clear communication and progress across the organization
- Identify gaps in current operations and architect scalable frameworks to improve team efficiency
- Establish and enforce rigorous documentation, tracking, and reporting standards serving as the department's single source of truth
- Coordinate agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts, working closely with Legal and Finance through procurement cycles
- Manage the financial health of the Communications function, including budget tracking, billing, and vendor management with precision and autonomy
