Job description
Citi's Wholesale Credit team in Dubai needs an analyst who can keep pace with changing local regulation and turn it into clear action. New regulations are assessed against internal Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) policies, standards and procedures, and gaps get action plans to close them. Groundwork for pre and post-approvals supports the Chief Credit Officer (CCO) and CCO Office Approvers, with submissions coordinated across ICM/CLM and a dashboard tracking every local regulatory and institutional approval. Regular and ad hoc credit-related regulatory surveys and reports are prepared and submitted with other stakeholders in the Bank. When high-impact risk events or market shifts hit, Rapid Portfolio Reviews run with ICM/CLM teams and First Line of Defense business units. Presentation materials for the Risk Oversight Committee, Model Oversight Committee and Country Coordinating Committees are prepared by you and may be presented in person. Candidates need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or a related field and 3-5 years in risk management, credit analysis or regulatory reporting within banking. Experience interpreting financial regulations, strong data visualisation skills and the confidence to explain complex risk to senior management are expected, and the position is open to UAE Nationals with a hybrid working pattern.
