Job description
EY is seeking a skilled Data Management Consultant for a 12-month contract role in Riyadh. The consultant will design and implement data governance frameworks, enforce data policies, and promote stewardship practices across the organization. This role will be central in shaping EY’s data governance strategy, ensuring compliance with NDMO standards and international best practices, and delivering training to internal teams. The consultant will monitor governance effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement in data management across the business.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks that align with organizational goals
- Develop and enforce data management policies and processes to ensure data integrity and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote data stewardship and best practices
- Conduct assessments of current data management practices and recommend improvements
- Stay updated on NDMO standards and best international practices to enhance data governance initiatives
- Provide training and support to staff on data governance principles and practices
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance policies and processes
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance and management
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, information management, or related field
- Certifications in data governance such as CDMP preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies
