Commercial Lead role in an MNC specializing in Energy Process Consulting based in Dubai, UAE, focused on driving profitable growth across consulting and technology solutions within the Energy, Refinery, Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, and broader industrial sectors across the MENA region. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and structuring strategic business development opportunities, including alliances, partnerships, collaborations, and commercial transactions to expand market presence and revenue streams. The position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and senior decision-makers, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and long-term account growth. The Commercial Lead engages in proactive prospecting activities using industry events, professional networks, and market intelligence to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline development. The role also includes leading cross-functional teams to develop tailored technical and commercial solutions, negotiating contract terms, and securing profitable agreements aligned with organizational goals. The candidate is responsible for conducting in-depth customer needs analysis using internal technical expertise to define client requirements, operational challenges, and long-term strategic objectives. Additionally, the role oversees CRM usage, ensuring accurate data management, operational compliance, and adherence to internal governance and regulatory standards. - Drive profitable growth of consulting and technology solutions across Energy, Refinery, Oil & Gas, and petrochemical sectors in the MENA region by developing strategic commercial initiatives and market expansion strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and structure strategic business development opportunities including alliances, partnerships, and commercial transactions to support revenue growth and market positioning.
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key clients and senior decision-makers, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and account satisfaction across enterprise accounts.
- Lead proactive prospecting and business development activities using market intelligence, industry events, and professional networks to generate new sales opportunities and expand pipeline.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored consulting and technology solutions aligned with client operational and business requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and contract agreements with clients to secure profitable deals and ensure mutual business value creation.
- Conduct detailed customer needs analysis using technical and domain expertise to define client requirements, challenges, and long-term strategic objectives.
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts while ensuring CRM system compliance, accurate data management, and adherence to internal governance and regulatory standards.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven experience in selling enterprise consulting or technical solutions within the hydrocarbon, energy, or industrial sectors with a strong track record of closing large and complex deals.
- Engage effectively with C-level executives and senior stakeholders in the energy sector, managing long and complex sales cycles and influencing strategic decisions.
- Apply deep understanding of the Middle East energy market, particularly Saudi Arabia, including cultural, economic, and regulatory business environments.
- Translate complex technical consulting and technology solutions into clear business value propositions aligned with client operational goals.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and delivery teams to develop and execute commercial strategies.
