Primark Kuwait needs a Department Manager who can train, develop and lead a department team while working right there on the shop floor alongside them. Maximising sales and reducing stock loss sit at the center of the job, driven through a visible standard of excellent customer service that the whole team can see and follow. You'll keep Sales Associates highly motivated and genuinely knowledgeable about the brand, since a team that understands the product sells it better. Deputising for the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager during periods of absence is part of the role too, stepping into store leadership when the need arises. Delegating tasks efficiently across the team, negotiating with customers and colleagues, and interviewing new hires as needed all come with running a department at this level. Commercial awareness runs through the day to day, from spotting what's driving sales to understanding how the department fits into the wider store's targets. A team member who speaks confident English, with Arabic considered an advantage, fits naturally into a store dealing with a broad mix of customers and colleagues.
