The Financial Due Diligence - Senior (Nationals Only) role in Abu Dhabi is positioned within a Transactions Diligence team that supports high-profile transactions for private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. The core mandate is due diligence: assessing target companies’ finances and business projections, identifying opportunities, risks, sensitivities and potential mitigations, and reporting findings to clients, banks, investors and other parties. The role includes analyzing financial and operational results by reviewing accounting records, participating in interviews with management, researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring, and preparing analyses of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations. Responsibilities extend to assisting in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients, maintaining communication, updating senior team members on progress, and working as part of cross service line teams with travel within MENA. The position requires knowledge of IFRS, experience (minimum 3 years) in accounting with previous due diligence exposure preferred, the ability to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions, strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills, excellent command of spoken and written English, and proficiency in Arabic is advantageous. Transactions/auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services background are beneficial. The role sits within a global Transaction Diligence network of specialists and offers progression to more complex transactions and increasing leadership responsibilities.
