Job description
The Financial Due Diligence - Senior (Nationals Only) role in Abu Dhabi is positioned within a Transactions Diligence team that supports high-profile transactions for private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. The core mandate is due diligence: assessing target companiesā finances and business projections, identifying opportunities, risks, sensitivities and potential mitigations, and reporting findings to clients, banks, investors and other parties. The role includes analyzing financial and operational results by reviewing accounting records, participating in interviews with management, researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring, and preparing analyses of financial information to assess trends and fluctuations. Responsibilities extend to assisting in preparing reports and schedules delivered to clients, maintaining communication, updating senior team members on progress, and working as part of cross service line teams with travel within MENA. The position requires knowledge of IFRS, experience (minimum 3 years) in accounting with previous due diligence exposure preferred, the ability to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions, strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills, excellent command of spoken and written English, and proficiency in Arabic is advantageous. Transactions/auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services background are beneficial. The role sits within a global Transaction Diligence network of specialists and offers progression to more complex transactions and increasing leadership responsibilities.

- Participate in due diligence engagements for transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers.
- Analyze financial and operational results of target companies by reviewing accounting records and participating in management interviews.

- Update senior team members on engagement progress, key findings, and emerging issues throughout each phase of the transaction process.
- Contribute to engagements across a range of sectors and situations, with travel within MENA as required.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Accounting and/or a related major.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with previous due diligence exposure.
- Demonstrate knowledge of IFRS and the ability to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions.
- Exhibit strong analytical, presentation, and report writing skills with excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Bring transactions or auditing experience and client-facing experience from a professional services background (preferred).
- Demonstrate proficiency in Arabic (preferred).
- Show motivation, problem-solving ability, and capacity to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry.
- Display effective communication and people management skills suitable for dynamic, high-profile transaction environments.
