Job description

The PMC Specialist Quality Engineer at Wood in Abu Dhabi is responsible for managing and supporting the implementation of quality principles, systems, and the Quality Management System (QMS) across programs or projects within the oil and gas sector. The role emphasizes planning, inspection, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and risk mitigation. Responsibilities include executing risk-based assurance plans, analyzing delivery performance data, facilitating external certification of the Wood Business Management System (BMS), and supporting tenders and proposals. The specialist works closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, promote quality culture, and ensure compliance with internal systems such as NCR and customer satisfaction metrics. This position requires a degree in engineering or related disciplines, a lead auditor qualification, and at least 15 years of experience, including 10 years in oil & gas and 6 years in FEED/engineering. Experience in the Middle East is preferred.
