Job description
The Senior Vice President – People, Culture and Change is responsible for leading the people and culture function within a UAE-based organisation operating in a high-performance, values-led environment. The role brings a strategic and commercial perspective to the People function by translating company strategy into a comprehensive people strategy and owning the full people agenda including Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations. The position involves ensuring operational excellence through the establishment of robust HR infrastructure, HR systems, and HR policies while maintaining HR compliance and governance standards. The role evolves performance philosophy and drives a high-performance culture through ownership of goal-setting frameworks including OKRs, performance feedback mechanisms, calibration processes, and promotion frameworks. The position also manages the Employee Value Proposition to maintain the organisation as a top-tier destination for talent and matures Employee Experience initiatives to support a high-trust and high-empathy culture. Additionally, the role leads Emiratisation strategy and workforce localisation initiatives aligned with UAE regulatory expectations. The Senior Vice President will drive organisational culture transformation, workforce planning, and strategic workforce management initiatives while ensuring alignment between business strategy and people strategy across the organisation.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy by translating company strategy into workforce planning, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations initiatives aligned with organisational objectives
- Lead and manage the full people agenda including Performance Management frameworks, Talent Acquisition strategies, and People Operations processes to support organisational growth and operational excellence
- Establish and maintain robust HR infrastructure, HR systems, and HR policies while ensuring operational excellence, HR governance, and compliance across the organisation
- Design and evolve performance philosophy by implementing goal-setting frameworks including OKRs, feedback mechanisms, performance calibration processes, and promotion frameworks to drive high-performance culture
- Manage and enhance the Employee Value Proposition by developing initiatives that position the organisation as a top-tier destination for talent while improving Employee Experience and organisational culture
- Lead Emiratisation strategy by designing and implementing workforce localisation initiatives aligned with UAE regulatory requirements and organisational workforce planning goals
- Drive alignment between business leadership and people strategy by collaborating with senior stakeholders to support organisational transformation, workforce planning, and culture initiatives
- Oversee organisational culture transformation initiatives by maintaining a high-trust, high-empathy, and values-led culture while ensuring performance excellence and employee engagement
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate experience leading a People and Culture function with responsibility for Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations within a large organisation
- Show experience developing and executing comprehensive people strategy aligned with business strategy and organisational transformation initiatives
- Demonstrate experience implementing HR infrastructure, HR systems, HR policies, and HR governance frameworks to support operational excellence and compliance
- Exhibit experience designing performance frameworks including goal-setting, OKRs, feedback mechanisms, calibration processes, and promotion frameworks
- Show experience managing Employee Value Proposition and Employee Experience initiatives to support talent attraction and retention
- Demonstrate experience leading Emiratisation strategy and workforce localisation initiatives within the UAE regulatory environment
- Possess ability to collaborate with senior leadership and manage strategic workforce planning and organisational culture transformation initiatives
- Demonstrate Arabic language capability and experience working within a high-performance, values-led organisational culture environment
