The Senior Concept Architect position within the Architectural Design Studio of PNC Architects, operating under the Sobha Group and legal entity PNC Investments LLC in Dubai, UAE, is a senior-level architectural role with a primary mandate centered on concept design leadership and schematic design supervision. The role requires leading the concept design stage and overseeing schematic design development for architectural projects, with a strong emphasis on translating project briefs into compelling design narratives, architectural concepts, massing studies, and spatial design solutions. The Senior Concept Architect is responsible for developing clear and coherent architectural concepts that support large-scale residential and mixed-use developments, ensuring that design intent is consistently maintained from early concept through schematic stages. The position involves producing high-quality concept presentations and architectural visuals, utilizing industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and other visualization tools to clearly communicate design intent to stakeholders. The role requires close coordination with internal architectural teams as well as external consultants to align design outputs, resolve design considerations, and ensure integrated delivery during the early design phases. In addition, the Senior Concept Architect plays a mentoring role within the studio, guiding junior architects in concept development, design thinking, and architectural presentation standards. A critical responsibility of the role is ensuring that all concept and schematic design outputs comply with applicable UAE regulations and are fully aligned with defined project briefs, drawing on relevant UAE and Middle East project experience where applicable.
