Job description
The ICT Officer is part of the ICT Department within the IT Support Team at Saipem, a global engineering and construction company operating across offshore and onshore energy and infrastructure sectors. The role provides Level 1 IT support to end users, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues and smooth operation of IT services. Responsibilities include managing and tracking IT incidents and service requests using ServiceNow, supporting IT compliance activities, and contributing to the optimization of the full lifecycle of IT assets. The ICT Officer prepares and distributes regular and ad hoc IT reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. The role also involves supporting Active Directory operations, assisting in user account and access management, and ensuring adherence to IT service management processes. The position requires strong analytical and reporting capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured IT support environment. It supports continuous improvement in IT service delivery and contributes to operational efficiency within a large-scale global engineering organization operating in multiple countries and complex environments.

Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 IT support to end users across the organization

Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Fresh graduate level experience
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM platform
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)
- Knowledge of Power BI and PowerPoint
- Understanding of Active Directory
- Ability to provide IT Level 1 support
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in IT support and compliance environment
