Job description
The Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager - Human Capital at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Hotel, part of Jumeirah Group under Dubai Holding, is responsible for overseeing recruitment and talent management functions in one of the most luxurious hospitality brands. The role ensures 100% recruitment audit compliance through the proper use of recruitment systems, provides coaching to managers to enhance employee retention, reduce turnover, and foster internal promotions, and supports effective succession planning and development initiatives. The position includes coordinating with the Training Department on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and succession plans, ensuring timely and accurate recruitment processes, and maintaining adherence to company hiring and policy standards. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Ensure 100% recruitment audit compliance and accurate use of the recruitment system.
- Provide coaching and support to managers to enhance retention and reduce labor turnover.
- Encourage and facilitate internal promotions and succession planning across departments.
- Coordinate with the Training Department on training related to IDPs and succession plans.
- Ensure all recruitment activities and new hire processes are conducted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to company policies for all new hires and status change requests.
- Assist managers in implementing effective talent management and development strategies.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR with relevant knowledge of HR administration processes and policies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and creativity.
- Customer service-oriented and professional demeanor with a mature personality.
- Preferred experience in luxury hospitality environments.
- Previous experience in a similar HR or recruitment management role is highly regarded.
- Degree in Hospitality, Business Studies, or a related field; Business English qualifications preferred.
