Job description
As Vice President, Specialist Sales Lead for Transfer Solutions in EEMEA at Mastercard, you will shape and drive the Mastercard Send strategy across domestic and cross-border peer-to-peer (P2P) card-based rails. The role encompasses defining regional strategy for EEMEA, developing customized country-level plans, and ensuring the right product features, platforms, and economics are in place to achieve aggressive growth targets. Youâll partner with a diverse ecosystem of financial institutions, telcos, governments, fintechs and digital players to originate new use-cases, coordinate multi-stakeholder technical and business projects, monitor commercial and product execution, and manage a large, diverse sales organization. Youâll collaborate closely with Global Product Teams to align best practices and feed regional insights back to global product roadmaps, ensuring EEMEA innovations are shared globally. The role demands a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to influence across geographies and drive Mastercardâs money-movement solutions.

- Develop Mastercard Send product strategy together with market teams across EEMEA
- Identify and execute regional strategy and customized country strategies for Transfer Solutions
- Ensure product features, platforms, and economics are aligned to aggressive growth targets
- Partner with financial institutions, telcos, governments, digital players and fintechs to build new use cases
- Monitor multiple projects and ensure timely execution of both technical and business aspects
- Manage and lead a diverse sales team, ensuring motivation and alignment across geographies
- Collaborate with global product teams to reflect global best practices in EEMEA projects and share regional innovation globally
- Drive partnerships and ecosystem expansion for Transfer Solutions across banks, fintechs, merchants and digital platforms
- Steer go-to-market execution, pipeline management, and sales discipline
- Maintain oversight of product features, partner deliverables, platform launches and go-live performance
- Monitor regulatory and competitive landscape and adjust strategy accordingly
Experience & skills
- Experience launching and scaling Mastercard Send or other card-based P2P products in multiple countries
- Experience establishing partnerships with telcos, fintechs, banks and digital platforms
- Experience in business development and local platform development within payments
- Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to address sales and technical challenges
- Experience managing large sales teams across different geographies
- Ability to monitor markets, competition, and develop strategies accordingly
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate vision and roadmap to stakeholders
- Ability to identify resource gaps and propose sustainable solutions
- Proven ability to work across technical, regulatory and commercial domains
