Job description
The Assembly and Test Technician 1 supports daily operations by performing assembly and testing of Surface Wellheads, Trees, and PCS jobs. The role requires adherence to work processes, assembly and testing procedures, and the preparation of final inspection reports. The technician will handle a variety of assembly and test equipment, including pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic tools, as well as automated systems. The role involves inputting labor hours into tracking systems, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with engineering instructions and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Adhere to all work processes, assembly and testing procedures.
- Prepare and maintain procedures throughout the assembly and FAT process.
- Support and carry out assembly/testing activities across work cells.
- Maintain and store all records as per procedures and requirements.
- Prepare and conduct final inspection of products.
- Operate and handle assembly and test equipment (pneumatic, electrical & hydraulic tools, pumps, DAQ, automated system & HPU).
- Use laptops, tablets, and electronic devices for daily activities.
- Comprehend work instructions, procedures, and engineering blueprints.
- Input labor hours accurately into Labor Tracking System (MES & Inteserv).
Experience & skills
- Trade certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Fitting, Automotive, or relevant field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of assembling or pressure testing working experience.
- Strong aptitude for continuous improvement.
- API 6A knowledge on wellhead products is an additional advantage.
- Physically fit without major medical conditions.
- Ability to rotate shifts on a monthly basis.
