Job description
The Key Account Manager – Vehicle Leasing (Financial Services Rental & Leasing) at Hertz UAE, part of Al-Futtaim Group, is responsible for hunting, developing, and managing a portfolio of new-to-business and existing corporate vehicle leasing customers across government, semi-government, and large corporate sectors. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention through consultative B2B sales, proactive prospecting, and strategic account management. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the position supports sales strategy execution, contributes to sales and marketing policy formulation, and ensures effective collaboration with internal teams including marketing, accounts, and collections. The role emphasizes customer-centric service delivery aligned with Hertz UAE’s vision, while maintaining accurate reporting, planning systems, and corporate brand reputation. The position requires strong sales acumen, market awareness, relationship management capabilities, and applied knowledge of MS Office, with English fluency essential and Arabic language skills considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities
- Hunt and develop a portfolio of new-to-business vehicle leasing customers across government, semi-government, and large corporate sectors
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate accounts to ensure customer retention and maximize account output
- Support the Regional Manager in executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and improving sales performance to meet profitability, growth, and revenue objectives
- Build and maintain strong, effective account management relationships with customers
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting techniques including cold calling and self-generated leads
- Develop customer relationships to increase profit levels and penetration of Hertz services
- Plan and implement customer retention and relationship development initiatives
- Contribute to the formulation of sales and marketing policies and strategies
- Maintain sales administration, reporting, and planning systems as required by line management
- Collaborate closely with accounts and collections teams to minimize outstanding debts
- Maintain and enhance corporate image and brand reputation through professional presentation and appropriate public relations activities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support sales planning, strategy development, and market trend analysis
- Provide key market statistics and insights to the marketing team to support future campaign planning
Experience & skills
- Demonstrated evidence of proven prospect database development and sales achievements
- Strong business-to-business consultative sales experience
- Excellent relationship management capabilities with exposure to high-profile or blue-chip organizations
- Proven ability to sell through multi-level decision makers within corporate environments
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
