Job description
Project Managers handling industrial projects of different sizes for ADNOC Distribution and other Group Companies report to this Senior Project Manager in Abu Dhabi, from contract award through to handover to end users. Scope, quality, cost and time all have to be met with the highest HSE standards, and contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are held to their contract requirements. Schedules, cost estimates and budgets are prepared and recommended for approval, then monitored closely during execution. Statements of requirements, scopes of work and execution strategies for each phase are developed under your direction. Contractor prequalification and bid evaluation draw on your expertise, as do negotiations on claims, backcharges and variations. Invoices and financial commitments are approved within your Delegation of Authority. Inspections, audits, weekly highlights and monthly progress reports keep quality and progress visible to management. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 12 years of oil and gas project execution experience, including 6 in the UAE, 7 in senior project management and exposure to FEED packages. PMP certification is required, and a master's in engineering management is highly preferable.
