Job description
The Finance Control Manager role at SADAFCO in Jeddah focuses on acting as the finance lead within a SAP implementation project, with responsibility for embedding robust internal controls, ensuring correct design and configuration of core SAP Financial modules, and driving finance process digitalization and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with IT teams, external consultants, and business stakeholders to align end-to-end finance processes and make them future-ready. The position requires deep hands-on expertise in SAP, preferably S/4HANA, covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA). The Finance Control Manager ensures compliance with SOX, audit, and internal control frameworks, validates system configurations, supports user acceptance testing (UAT), oversees accurate data migration, and contributes to training and change management initiatives across finance operations within a complex transformation environment.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the finance lead in the SAP implementation ensuring finance requirements are captured and translated into system design
- Collaborate with IT, consultants, and business stakeholders to align and optimize end-to-end finance processes
- Embed internal controls into SAP system design and finance processes to ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and internal control frameworks
- Provide expert input on SAP Financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
- Drive finance process automation, simplification, and digitalization initiatives
- Validate SAP system configurations and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support training and change management activities for finance teams
- Support data migration activities ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance and accounting
- Experience in Big 4 public accounting
- Hands-on experience with SAP implementation projects, preferably S/4HANA
- Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting frameworks
- Expertise in core finance processes including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and system optimization
