Job description
Working alongside the Secondary Head of Inclusion and the Personalised Learning Team, this Learning Support Assistant focuses on Business and Economics for students in Years 7 to 11. NAS Dubai has over 3,000 students on a British Curriculum campus leading to IGCSE, A Level and the IB Diploma Programme, and expectations for attainment are high. Most sessions are one-to-one or small group, planned and delivered for students with neurodiverse profiles and learning difficulties. Personalised educational plans (PEPs) are built together with students, teachers and parents, and provision is adjusted to each student's specific needs. Social and emotional development matters as much as academic progress, with the aim of helping pupils become independent, confident learners. Student safety and welfare stay in view throughout the school day. Candidates should have worked as a Learning Support Assistant or Secondary Teacher within the British curriculum up to GCSE/IGCSE level, with strong spoken and written English. The start date is 19 October 2026, though this can move to accommodate notice periods, and the package includes visa provision.
