Job description
Road incidents involving ADNOC Onshore drivers, vehicles, and contractors are exactly what this Senior Officer, HSE role exists to prevent, working across every site the company operates. Contractors and sub-contractors all fall under this role's influence, expected to comply with the Transportation Safety Corporate Manual and Corporate Practices requirements across ADNOC Onshore. You conduct regular field audits, inspections, and spot checks on vehicles, drivers, and journey management systems, verifying compliance and identifying gaps as they appear. Driver behaviour and vehicle performance data get monitored and analyzed through IVMS, AFDD, DMS, telematics, and GPS, catching unsafe trends before they become incidents. Investigations into road traffic incidents sit with you too, running thorough root cause analysis and pushing through preventive measures once the cause is clear. Site teams and transportation units coordinate closely to close identified gaps, keeping corrective actions on track for systemic improvement. Transportation Safety campaigns get driven on the ground, engaging drivers and operational teams directly rather than leaving safety messaging to sit on paper. Government authorities and ADNOC Group companies stay in the loop too, aligning enforcement practices and sharing best practices for crash prevention. ADSD training providers get assessed and approved, with training effectiveness verified through audits and driver competency checks.
