The Senior Data Analyst (Business Intelligence and Data Analytics) in Al Asimah, Kuwait is responsible for delivering advanced data analysis and business intelligence insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Working within the banking and financial services sector, the role focuses on analyzing complex datasets, identifying business opportunities and operational challenges, and translating analytical findings into actionable insights for business leaders. The position collaborates with business unit leaders to proactively identify problems and opportunities while conducting comprehensive data analysis to support operational improvements and business growth initiatives. The Senior Data Analyst utilizes analytical tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel, and modern business intelligence platforms to process, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from multiple sources. Responsibilities include designing analytical models, developing dashboards, and building reporting tools that provide clear visualization of business performance metrics and key operational indicators. The role also translates business requirements into data-driven solutions by developing analytical frameworks, metrics, and reporting dashboards that support effective decision-making. The position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining high data quality standards by implementing processes for data validation, metadata management, and data lineage documentation. Additionally, the role collaborates with technology teams to ensure appropriate data access governance and support security mechanisms for data management. Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorās degree or equivalent certification in a relevant discipline
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Have experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Demonstrate the ability to process and clean large datasets from multiple data sources
- Possess strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to present insights to both technical and business stakeholders
