Job description
When a Gas turbine or Steam turbine control system misbehaves at a customer site, this Dubai-based engineer owns the technical resolution and works it with urgency. GE Vernova Gas Power customers worldwide rely on that support across Controls & Operability. Complex RCAs run through root cause and corrective action, with updates shared with field teams, GEV leadership and end customers. Trending issues across the fleet also need spotting early, and countermeasures go out through TILs, PSxBs, ETCs and OnTheGo alerts. Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Customer Engineering Centers, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Vendors all help reach sound answers quickly. Expertise in ControlST application algorithm modifications and turbine operational trend data analysis is a strong advantage. Lean principles and simplification are expected in day-to-day work. Candidates need at least 5 years in controls, operations, engineering or installation of Gas Turbines or Steam Turbines, plus customer-facing or engineering experience. Travel runs at around 10 to 15%, and HA/F Class experience and Arabic are both desirable.
