Job description
Standard Chartered is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead end-to-end recruitment for mid-to-senior level roles across business units. The role involves strategic partnering with hiring managers, proactive sourcing of top talent, championing diversity and inclusion, and driving the bank’s localization agenda across the MENA region. This is a high-impact role requiring operational excellence, strategic insight, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior roles across multiple business units
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft hiring strategies
- Proactively source, headhunt, and build talent pipelines for critical positions
- Use data and market intelligence to influence hiring decisions and talent strategies
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor hiring activity, and talent availability
- Drive the localization agenda across MENA markets
- Manage recruitment-related compliance with HR policies, standards, and systems
Experience & skills
- Extensive experience in recruitment at both operational and strategic levels (in-house preferred, search firm experience considered)
- Proven ability to manage localization hiring initiatives
- Track record of engaging with senior managers and stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment
- Knowledge and experience using HRIS (SuccessFactors preferred)
- Strong sourcing, headhunting, and talent pooling capabilities
- Ability to leverage market data for strategic hiring
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
