Job description
The District Compound Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of company residential compounds in Riyadh, ensuring resident welfare, efficient accommodation allocation, and smooth transport services between compounds and work locations. The role involves maintaining hygiene, safety, and security standards, coordinating with maintenance teams for timely issue resolution, and ensuring compliance with civil defense and company policies. Additionally, the manager will monitor operating costs, optimize resource utilization, and implement efficiency initiatives while providing support to the Regional Compound Manager. Strong reporting skills and hands-on operational oversight are key aspects of this role.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily compound operations to ensure resident comfort and welfare
- Oversee transport services for residents between compounds and work locations
- Ensure availability of essential soft, hard, and cleaning materials within compounds
- Allocate accommodations based on capacity, nationality grouping, and company standards
- Maintain overall cleanliness, hygiene, and security across compounds
- Identify and mitigate possible risk areas within compounds
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve facility-related issues promptly
- Ensure residents adhere to compound rules and company policies
- Post and announce company communications at compounds
- Visit compounds regularly as per schedule and respond immediately to emergencies
- Ensure compliance with civil defense and fire safety requirements
- Monitor water and utility availability; validate fire extinguisher readiness
- Prepare and send weekly/monthly reports (headcount, inventory, accommodation list) to Regional Compound Manager
- Conduct physical inventory of scrap/unneeded items and coordinate sell-out
- Manage operating costs efficiently, ensuring resource optimization
- Lead compound staff, communicate job responsibilities, and conduct performance evaluations
Experience & skills
- Diploma in Hotel Management or Business Administration, or higher secondary school qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in compound or hotel management
- Strong command of both Arabic and English
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and communication
- Ability to manage residents' welfare, logistics, and compound operations effectively
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and civil defense compliance standards
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
