The Finance Analyst role at Al-Futtaim Automotive β BYD in Saudi Arabia supports financial planning and analysis activities by delivering accurate financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes. The role plays a key part in ensuring financial data integrity, supporting performance tracking, and providing insights to enable informed business decisions. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, conducting variance analysis, analyzing financial performance, and identifying key trends and anomalies. The Finance Analyst supports management reporting, dashboard preparation, and ensures accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems. The position assists in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, consolidates financial data from different departments, tracks performance against budget and forecast, and supports variance analysis between actuals and planned figures. The role maintains and updates financial models, supports development of dashboards and reporting tools, and ensures data integrity across financial systems. Responsibilities also include supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, reviewing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with finance teams to ensure timely closing. The Finance Analyst collaborates with cross-functional departments to gather financial data, supports financial queries, and translates financial data into business insights. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, financial reporting expertise, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with large datasets, knowledge of IFRS or GAAP, and familiarity with Microsoft Power BI to support financial analysis and reporting within automotive operations.

- Prepare monthly financial reports and conduct detailed variance analysis by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, highlighting anomalies, and supporting management reporting and dashboard preparation
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts by consolidating financial data from different departments and tracking performance against budget and forecast targets
- Maintain and update financial models, develop dashboards and reporting tools, and ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting frameworks
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by reviewing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with finance teams to ensure timely financial close
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to gather financial data, validate inputs, and support financial planning and analysis activities
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and planned figures to support performance tracking and business decision-making
- Support management reporting and performance dashboards by analyzing financial data and translating financial information into actionable business insights
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data, maintain reporting standards, and assist in financial analysis to support business performance monitoring
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with strong academic background in financial analysis and reporting
- Demonstrate 2β5 years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or FP&A roles with reporting and analysis responsibilities
- Possess strong knowledge of financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills including handling large datasets, financial modeling, and reporting automation
- Show experience in financial reporting, management reporting, and dashboard preparation for performance tracking
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting development considered as an advantage
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of IFRS or GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks
- Show ability to analyze financial data, maintain data integrity, support month-end closing activities, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments
