The Senior Reliability Engineer applies broad and in-depth knowledge of reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, asset strategy management (ASM), and asset performance management (APM) to identify optimal outcomes for client success. The role includes independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard reliability techniques, procedures, and criteria; applying principles and practices within a specific practice area; and acquiring working knowledge of related technical fields to function within multidisciplinary teams. The position requires hands-on data analysis, including data extraction from various data sources and summarizing analytical outputs into actionable conclusions. The Senior Reliability Engineer actively engages in business development activities, manages multiple projects of moderate size or significant portions of major projects, and contributes to project elements including timelines, deliverables, and budgets. The role operates across industries such as mining, processing, oil & gas, utilities, and manufacturing, and includes advisory, coaching, and training responsibilities in reliability methods and approaches. CRE and/or CAMA2 certification are identified as highly desirable credentials for the role.
