Job description
Service requests across high-rise, residential and commercial buildings land with this Senior Civil Supervisor, who keeps civil maintenance on schedule for sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A team of around 25 supervisors, technicians and maintenance workers takes daily direction from you, with tasks allocated by priority and availability. Work covers masonry, carpentry, painting, false ceilings, waterproofing, glass, steel and aluminium panels. Regular site inspections catch defects early and confirm that completed jobs meet quality standards before customers or tenants sign them off. Materials, consumables and spare parts need planning and tracking so nothing runs short and wastage stays low. Specialist subcontractors handle certain jobs, and their scope, safety and timelines are monitored closely. Commercial support is part of the role too, from estimating quantities and manpower for quotations to supplying records for billing and payment follow-up. HSE procedures and permit requirements apply to every task. Expect to bring 5 to 6 years in civil maintenance, including at least 2 in the GCC and ideally the UAE, plus experience supervising a team of this size, and a Civil Engineering degree is preferred.
