Job description
The Endpoint Security Operations Team Leader is responsible for managing endpoint security operations, monitoring security events, and leading incident response activities. The role involves maintaining security tools, ensuring compliance with security frameworks, and leading a team to protect enterprise infrastructure while supporting IT security operations within a banking environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage and monitor endpoint security devices and tools
- Lead security event monitoring and incident response activities
- Perform security health checks and vulnerability monitoring
- Implement security hardening baselines and compliance reporting
- Manage antivirus, DLP, encryption, and endpoint protection tools
- Provide Level 2 incident support and escalation management
- Oversee device configuration and change management processes
- Maintain DMZ security and public services protection
- Prepare management dashboards and security reporting
- Lead team operations and support IT security initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, ITIL, and internal policies
- Participate in proof-of-concepts for security technologies
- Provide on-call support for security incidents
- Support global expansion security requirements
- Maintain documentation and process ownership
Experience & skills
- Minimum 8–10 years of IT security experience
- Experience leading endpoint security teams
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, COBIT)
- Experience managing endpoint security platforms
- Strong networking and cybersecurity knowledge
- Experience in incident response and threat management
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Leadership and mentoring experience
- Ability to work in on-call environment
