Job description
The Business & Operations Senior Manager role at Inverto in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the effective operationalization of Inverto’s regional growth agenda across the Middle East. The role operates within a management consulting environment focused on procurement and supply chain, backed by Boston Consulting Group, and partners closely with Inverto leadership, Managing Directors, Principals, and EMESA teams. The position ensures transparency and rigor in business development activities, supports strong go-to-market execution, and enables high-quality decision-making through robust performance management and financial planning. The role plays a central part in shaping talent and team development, optimizing staffing and resource allocation, and sustaining a cohesive, high-performing organizational culture. Responsibilities span commercial operations, people and talent management, financial planning and performance management, collaboration and data flow across Inverto Middle East, Inverto EMESA, and BCG Core teams, as well as governance, risk management, and compliance coordination. The role also oversees local office operations, shared services coordination with BCG, and local marketing initiatives aligned with global Inverto marketing and employer branding, ensuring consistency with Inverto’s global guardrails, operating model, and business standards. Overall, the position is critical to enabling sustainable growth, operational excellence, and strategic execution of Inverto’s Middle East business.

Key responsibilities
- Partner with Inverto Managing Directors, Principals, and EMESA teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and operational execution of the regional growth plan
- Ensure full transparency and governance of the business development pipeline through tool management, data accuracy, and process alignment
- Enable commercial success by synthesizing insights from local platforms and providing senior leadership with actionable steering information
- Drive optimal team deployment and resource allocation in collaboration with Inverto EMESA to ensure sustained delivery capacity
- Shape and execute Middle East hiring and retention strategies with recruiting and EMESA teams to attract and retain top consulting talent
- Coordinate and enhance professional development, career development, training, retention, and team affiliation initiatives
- Oversee HR operations and benefits implementation in coordination with local HR teams and central functions
- Steer annual strategic and financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Translate financial data into insights and recommendations for senior leadership decision-making
- Ensure accurate cost accounting and P&L management in collaboration with Inverto and BCG Finance teams
- Maintain strong cross-functional collaboration with BCG Core and Inverto EMESA teams to ensure smooth operational integration and reliable data flow
- Support governance, risk management, and compliance efforts by aligning local operations with legal, regulatory, and internal standards
- Oversee day-to-day local office operations and coordinate shared services such as HR, Recruiting, IT, and marketing
- Drive and execute local marketing initiatives in alignment with global Inverto Marketing and Employer Branding teams
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an above-average academic grade in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- Demonstrate a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in business operations within a professional services or consulting environment
- Exhibit strong experience in commercial operations, go-to-market support, and business development pipeline management
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management
- Show proven capability in people and talent management, including workforce planning, hiring strategy, and professional development
- Demonstrate experience working in an international, fast-paced environment with senior stakeholders
- Exhibit strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills across regional and global teams
- Demonstrate understanding of governance, risk management, compliance requirements, and data governance standards
- Possess business-fluent English communication skills suitable for senior leadership interaction and reporting
