Job description
Risk on an ultra-luxury residential and hospitality development doesn't stay static, and this role exists to keep pace with it across civils, infrastructure, landscape and built assets delivered under Mace's FIDIC engineer responsibility. You implement and continuously improve risk frameworks, registers, dashboards and reporting processes, keeping the whole system usable rather than just documented. Regular workshops, reviews and assessments identify, evaluate and mitigate issues before they affect delivery. Project teams work closely with this role to fold risk controls directly into plans, schedules and budgets rather than treating them as an afterthought. Safety sits at the foundation of everything, and you apply stop-work authority confidently when conditions call for it. Logistics, supply chain constraints, material availability and long-lead procurement all get assessed for risk exposure, alongside access, transportation and infrastructure readiness. Environmental and climatic challenges factor into the same analysis, given how much they can shift a project timeline. Net zero carbon transition runs through the mandate too, with shared responsibility for identifying and managing the emissions tied to delivery.
