Job description
The Sales Account Manager – IT Hardware, Software & Cybersecurity Solutions is a senior-level permanent position based onsite in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, recruited by Adecco for a prestigious client operating in the IT hardware, software and services domain. The role focuses on managing and growing sales operations within Dubai and the wider UAE/GCC market, with responsibility for selling IT hardware, software and services related to data center solutions, network solutions and cybersecurity solutions. The position requires managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success, developing long-term client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for customers, handling individual customer needs, responding to queries in a timely manner, and delivering a positive customer experience. The role includes generating new business through existing and potential customer networks, supervising account representatives to drive sales increase, reporting on account and transaction status, setting and tracking sales account targets aligned with company objectives, monitoring sales performance metrics including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, and identifying opportunities for growth to improve overall sales performance. The candidate must demonstrate proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive, hands-on sales expertise, knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular), understanding of sales performance metrics, and business acumen. A minimum of 10 years of sales experience is required, including at least 7 years of sales experience within the UAE/GCC region, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is desirable.

- Manage a portfolio of accounts within the UAE/GCC market to achieve long-term commercial success by developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for customers, handling individual customer needs and requests, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a consistently positive customer experience across IT hardware, software, data center, network and cybersecurity solutions.
- Drive revenue growth and business expansion by generating new business opportunities through existing and potential customer networks, identifying sales opportunities, setting and tracking sales account targets aligned with company objectives, monitoring sales performance metrics including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, reporting on the status of accounts and transactions, and recommending actions to improve sales performance and capture growth opportunities.
- Oversee and supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase, maintain accurate reporting and tracking of account activities, utilize CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) to manage customer information and sales data, and ensure alignment between sales execution and overall business objectives in Dubai and the wider GCC region.
Experience & skills
- Possess proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive with hands-on experience in selling IT hardware, software and services for data center, network and cybersecurity solutions, along with knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) and understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Hold a minimum of 10 years of sales experience including at least 7 years within the UAE/GCC region, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering being desirable.
