Job description
The Revenue Cycle Management Coordinator role at King’s College Hospital London – Dubai is a critical administrative and operational position within the healthcare revenue function, responsible for supporting end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) activities across multiple stages of the patient billing lifecycle. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely processing of all revenue-related transactions, directly contributing to the hospital’s financial performance and operational efficiency. The position involves managing insurance pre-authorization requests by coordinating closely with UAE insurance payers to obtain timely approvals in line with payer-specific requirements and guidelines. The coordinator is responsible for handling claims submission with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring all claims comply with payer rules, contractual terms, and UAE insurance regulations to minimize rejections and delays. In addition, the role oversees payment collection and allocation processes, ensuring that payments received from payers are correctly posted, allocated, and reconciled against submitted claims and patient accounts. A key aspect of the position is maintaining strong payer relations by responding to payer inquiries, supporting issue resolution related to claims, payments, and approvals, and following up on outstanding items to ensure timely closure. The Revenue Cycle Management Coordinator collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical, administrative, and finance teams, to ensure seamless coordination across revenue cycle processes.
