Job description
As a Technical Advisor at Audemars Piguet Dubai, you play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional luxury client experience while ensuring operational excellence within the boutique. You are responsible for providing technical expertise on watches, supporting aftersales services, and mentoring boutique staff to elevate their technical knowledge. This role requires a balance between high-level client engagement, operational oversight, and technical proficiency. You will be accountable for monitoring the service quality of AP watches, performing inspections and simple interventions, managing inventory related to repairs, and maintaining seamless coordination between boutiques, customer service centers, and HQ teams. As a key brand ambassador, you will use your deep understanding of AP’s heritage, collections, and technical specifications to guide clients, reinforce brand values, and create long-lasting client relationships. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with company policies, IT tools, data protection regulations, and luxury retail standards, always maintaining the highest levels of integrity, attention to detail, and operational efficiency.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on AP watches to clients and boutique staff, including inspections and simple interventions like bracelet adjustments and waterproofness checks
- Deliver exceptional client experiences through active listening, storytelling, and emotional engagement
- Handle complaints and resolve client concerns to maintain loyalty and trust
- Support boutique operations including managing repair inventories, coordinating with customer service centers, and ensuring accurate follow-up
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical knowledge and customer service skills
- Stay current on AP brand, collections, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients
- Operate IT applications for aftersales operations (M3, CRM, CS Workflow) efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all operational and administrative tasks adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and luxury retail standards
- Participate in internal and external events to promote the brand and maintain client engagement
- Maintain the boutique’s appearance and ensure seamless execution of operational procedures
Experience & skills
- Minimum 3 years experience in luxury retail, watchmaking, aftersales, or technical advisory
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Proficiency in complex retail management systems and point-of-sale software
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-end retail environment
- Excellent attention to detail and meticulous work ethic
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and accountability
- Ability to mentor and support team members while upholding brand and operational standards
