Job description
This role leads the full spectrum of Human Capital Services for Space42, overseeing strategic HR operations, employee lifecycle management, government relations, and HR service delivery across all business units. The Director ensures all HC processes, policies, and systems are aligned with corporate objectives while maintaining compliance with UAE labor laws, Emiratization requirements, and MOHRE regulations. Responsibilities include designing HC support strategies, overseeing onboarding and relocation, managing disciplinary and employee relations matters, enhancing HRIS and data management capabilities, and converting HC strategies into operational execution. The position requires strong leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in HR service quality across a large, innovative SpaceTech organization.

Key responsibilities
- Support the CHCCO in designing and implementing strategic HC service plans
- Oversee HC support service guidelines, frameworks, and process enhancements
- Provide guidance on employee discipline, attendance, performance, and grievances
- Lead HC operations including government relations, immigration, onboarding, and verification processes
- Oversee HC systems, personnel records, and employee help desk functions
- Manage transactional HR services across Space42 and its business units
- Translate HC strategy and policy into operational service delivery
- Evaluate service performance and recommend improvements in processes and technology
- Lead the development and review of HC policies aligned with regulations
- Ensure full compliance with UAE labor laws, Emiratization, and MOHRE requirements
- Foster collaboration across HR functions and business units
Experience & skills
- Masterās degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Emiratization, MOHRE, and UAE government procedures
- Proven HR strategy development and execution experience
- Strong grasp of UAE labor laws and regulatory frameworks
- HRIS proficiency and strong analytical skills
- Experience in change management and organizational development
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Leadership capability with a track record of managing HR teams
- Arabic language fluency (mandatory)
