Job description
The Account Manager role at Deliveroo is responsible for driving the commercial performance, growth, and profitability of a portfolio of high-value restaurant partners in Doha. The position involves full ownership of strategic account management, including independent portfolio management, development and execution of data-driven growth strategies, and optimization of partner performance and customer experience. Acting as a trusted advisor to restaurant partners, the Account Manager leads quarterly business reviews, conducts deep performance analyses, identifies category expansion and new business opportunities, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver high-impact initiatives. The role owns commercial outcomes such as revenue targets, promotional return on investment, and profitability metrics, leveraging advanced data analysis using Excel and Looker to assess trends, pricing strategies, and campaign effectiveness. The position also leads negotiations and execution of partner-funded and co-marketing campaigns to drive incremental order volume while ensuring sustainable partner success within a fast-paced food delivery and e-commerce environment.

- Lead quarterly business reviews and performance deep-dives with partners, delivering actionable insights and recommendations
- Own commercial performance including revenue targets, promotional ROI, and profitability metrics for assigned accounts
- Analyze data using Excel and Looker to identify trends, optimize pricing, and evaluate campaign performance
- Negotiate and execute partner-funded or co-marketing campaigns to drive incremental order volume
- Act as a trusted advisor and proactive problem-solver for partners while collaborating with internal cross-functional teams
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven experience in account management, business development, or strategy roles
- Show experience within food delivery, food and beverage, or e-commerce sectors
- Exhibit advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis capabilities
- Maintain strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and ROI-driven decision-making
- Demonstrate ability to manage complex portfolios independently and achieve revenue and retention targets
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
