Job description
Large-scale infrastructure and construction projects lose money quietly when cost control slips, and this Senior Cost Control Manager role at Egis exists to keep that from happening on one of the company's major projects in Riyadh. Cost management, design review, and budget control for the project all sit under direct responsibility here, with efficient resource allocation and financial performance the measure of success. You will develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, conducting detailed cost analyses and providing regular cost performance reports to stakeholders. The Program and Project Cost Breakdown Structure gets maintained and version controlled, with changes to its structure managed carefully as the project evolves. Financial models get created and updated to forecast project costs and cash flows, while risk assessments and mitigation strategies help minimize financial impact. Cost control systems track project expenses and variances continuously, and cross-functional teams work together to keep deliverables within budget. Expert cost advice goes to project managers and senior leadership as needed, grounded in local regulations and current industry practice in cost engineering. Budget and cost performance evaluation feed directly into business planning efforts across the project.
