Job description
The collections team is part of the Financial Remediation department. The role is focused on ensuring all delinquent customers are contacted and followed up with regarding dues for their existing bank facilities. This includes handling delinquent accounts across various banking products like personal loans, credit cards, and auto loans. The goal is to meet monthly targets to positively impact bank revenues by reducing provisions and increasing recoveries.

Key responsibilities
- Follow up on the assigned delinquent pool to achieve monthly collection targets
- Raise final settlement requests for customers with valid justifications like job loss, salary reduction, or medical conditions
- Accurately update systems using the appropriate action codes
- Increase the number of backflow accounts by focusing on collecting 2 or more installments monthly
- Ensure customer satisfaction scores align with benchmarks
- Adhere to TOM elements and Emirates NBD values in daily work
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree
- Native Arabic speaker
- Excellent knowledge of the collections process
- Previous experience in customer communications via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Strong communication and listening skills with a clear telephone manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
