Job description
This role focuses on driving Shell's Lubricants B2C direct market business in the UAE, with responsibility for franchise workshops and global key accounts. The position is integral to Shellâs growth in the Middle East and Central Asia, supporting strategic initiatives and volume expansion. The successful candidate will lead business planning, manage key relationships, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure delivery of commercial KPIs under the leadership of the Regional Sales Manager.\

Key responsibilities
- Achieve/exceed KPIs: HSSE, volume, net revenue/C3, channel/product category specific growth, and sales excellence.
- Monitor and manage existing contract performance through upsell and cross-sell processes and price increases.
- Assess prospects and initiate and conclude new contracts.
- Engage senior strategic stakeholders internally and externally, requiring strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Develop joint promotional activities and technical initiatives with marketing and technical teams.
- Assess business performance, strategy, CVPs, and pricing, and take action to improve results.
- Monitor key competitor activities in compliance with antitrust principles.
- Collaborate with support functions to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide sales forecasts and coordinate with supply chain for timely deliveries.
- Track market competition, pricing, and value chain conditions.
- Be accountable for personal development and arrange training to improve competencies.
Experience & skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate in engineering, business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of work experience preferred.
- Proven experience in lubricant sales roles and managing direct channels.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with numbers and business finance with ability to pull economic and accounting levers.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to present strategy and results across levels.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or SFA.
