The role involves advising on a broad range of banking and finance matters under both English law and UAE law, with a particular focus on private credit and fund finance transactions. The practice advises on the full spectrum of lending transactions, including secured and unsecured bilateral and syndicated loans, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, private credit transactions, fund finance arrangements, rescheduling and restructuring matters, loan transfers, participations, and loan portfolio acquisitions and disposals. The team works closely with a diverse client base that includes banks, corporates, sovereign wealth funds, private capital investors (including private credit providers), and other financial sponsors. The practice has received extensive market recognition and awards, including Band 1 Banking and Finance practice in Chambers Middle East 2025, multiple IFLR Middle East Awards, IFN Law Awards, and recognition for Sukuk, bonds, loans, equity, acquisition finance, and innovative deal transactions. Lawyers in this role are exposed to complex, high-value, and high-profile transactions across asset classes, including Islamic and conventional financing structures. The role offers the opportunity to work on landmark transactions across the Middle East, such as large-scale acquisition financings, private credit facilities, NAV facilities, and multi-jurisdiction secured lending structures. The position is based in prestigious business developments in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and offers access to a highly developed internal training programme, international residential training, competitive remuneration, strong career progression opportunities, and a collaborative, meritocratic, and diverse working environment within a globally integrated law firm.
