Job description
Offices, flagship retail stores and critical facilities across du need spaces that work for the business and reflect the brand, and this Dubai director leads their design and delivery. Design strategy is set in line with the company's vision, with sustainable and functional spaces as the goal. Conceptual layouts and visual schemes are developed in AutoCAD and 3D software against business requirements, branding guidelines and regulatory standards. RFPs, tender documents and contractor prequalification follow FIDIC contracts and local authority regulations. MEP engineers, Facilities Management, Operations, IT, Branding and Technology teams all feed into design and execution plans through interfaces you manage. Site visits and technical evaluations check contractor capability and compliance with design and safety requirements. Value engineering finds cost-effective alternatives that keep quality and aesthetics intact, and budgets and forecasts are aligned with financial targets. High-potential team members are mentored in modular construction, generative design and circular economy principles. Over 12 years in project management, design and construction is required, including 5 leading Class A offices, flagship retail or critical facilities, with a Bachelor's in Architecture, Interior Design or Civil Engineering. A Master's in Construction Management or Sustainable Design and PMP, LEED AP or WELL AP certification are preferred.
