Job description
The Treasury & Risk Integration Lead at Gulf International Bank is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of Murex MXIII interfaces inbound and outbound for trades and static data based on Mxml exchange, as well as development and maintenance of Market data interfaces based on MDCS/RTBS. The role includes building and maintaining reports and data extraction solutions, developing reconciliation capabilities through the GIBRec tool between Murex and other systems, building reconciliation reports including extractions and layouts, and enhancing the GIBRec tool with new developments and support. The position requires building Murex reports using the Murex Datamart Solution, supporting the Data Center team on Murex Intraday/EOD Jobs, defining Murex processing scripts, and automating and scheduling jobs in coordination with the data center team. The lead interacts with business stakeholders, FO and BO stream leaders, Murex stream leaders, and connectivity partners to document functional specifications, validate use cases and scenarios, ensure smooth deployment, support production interfaces, and deliver monitoring tools. The role demands strong expertise in Murex 3.1 MxML development using XML, XSLT, Java, Unix, SQL, and API (.NET) within an integration environment, with thorough understanding of Datamart, Exchange Workflow, and Static Data Configuration.

- Lead the development and maintenance of Murex MXIII interfaces inbound and outbound for trades and static data based on Mxml exchange
- Develop and maintain Market data interfaces based on MDCS/RTBS and ensure continuous support
- Build and maintain reports and data extraction solutions including Murex reports using Murex Datamart Solution
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the GIBRec reconciliation tool between Murex and other systems and build reconciliation reports with extractions and layouts
- Document functional specifications for interface development and validate requirements, use cases, and scenarios with FO and BO stream leaders and users
- Establish and maintain relationships with connectivity partners to ensure corresponding interfaces are developed and maintained
- Document, test, deploy, and support built interfaces in production and deliver monitoring tools
- Support Data Center team on Murex Intraday/EOD Jobs and define Murex processing scripts to automate and schedule jobs
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering as a foundational qualification for complex integration and treasury technology environments
- Demonstrate more than 3 years of hands-on MXIII experience with thorough understanding of Datamart, MxML, Exchange Workflow, Static Data Configuration and Integration environment within Murex
- Possess more than 8 years of overall development experience including Murex 3.1 MxML development using XML, XSLT, Java, Unix, SQL, and API (.NET) in enterprise banking systems
- Exhibit strong expertise in Murex Datamart for building reports, extractions, and layouts and in defining and managing Murex processing scripts for automation and scheduling
- Show proven experience in developing and supporting Market data interfaces based on MDCS/RTBS and managing inbound/outbound trade and static data interfaces based on Mxml exchange
- Demonstrate capability to design, build, maintain, and enhance reconciliation solutions such as GIBRec and to support Murex Intraday/EOD Jobs in coordination with Data Center teams
- Provide evidence of exposure to Technical Analysis practices and tools and ability to operate effectively within a complex Integration environment
- Demonstrate ability to document clear and complete business requirements, elicit use cases and scenarios, troubleshoot production issues, train technical and business users on Murex system capabilities, and manage multiple concurrent development and support tasks
