Job description
The Executive Manager - Corporate Credit Services at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is responsible for managing and governing the Bank’s corporate credit servicing operations for UAE National applicants. This includes overseeing evaluation, renewal, and ongoing administration of credit arrangements, ensuring accuracy, consistency of credit information, and strong operational controls to safeguard credit quality. The role supports ADCB’s strategic lending responsibilities while maintaining adherence to regulatory frameworks, operational risk policies, and corporate credit standards. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, performance monitoring, workflow analysis, identification of operational risks, and implementation of process improvements to enhance credit servicing effectiveness and organizational resilience.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee corporate credit servicing activities including assessment, renewal, and operational administration of credit arrangements.
- Analyse workflow performance, guide teams responsible for credit preparation and servicing, and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
- Direct development, review, and maintenance of credit documentation with strong controls and alignment to credit standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address discrepancies and mitigate operational and legal risks.
- Monitor and enhance operational controls by evaluating process effectiveness, identifying risks, and implementing improvements.
- Review exceptions, address compliance gaps, and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance and resolving escalations.
- Evaluate performance indicators, analyse operational trends, and prepare management reports.
- Highlight risks, recommend corrective actions, and support planning activities to maintain efficient and compliant credit servicing.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and implement improvements supporting organizational change.
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB people management policies, set objectives, monitor performance, develop staff, and provide feedback to maximise engagement and results.
Experience & skills
- At least 8 years of experience in Credit Operations, Credit Administration, or Corporate Credit Servicing within Banking or Financial Services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Law.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate credit processes and credit administration.
- Experience with documentation governance and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in operational risk controls and performance monitoring.
- Experience managing workflow and team performance in credit operations.
- Analytical skills to evaluate trends, risks, and operational effectiveness.
- Proficiency with relevant banking systems and tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
