Job description
The Graphic Designer at Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) will report directly to the Deputy CEO & Chief Operations Officer and operate within the COO Office to support branding and communication efforts through creative, innovative, and effective graphic design solutions. Dubai Future Foundation aims to realize the vision of Dubaiās leadership by institutionalizing forward-thinking methodologies and positioning Dubai as the leading city of the future through partnerships with governments, companies, startups, entrepreneurs, and global organizations. The role involves designing multidisciplinary graphic materials including branding, layout design, digital newsletters, data-driven design, infographics, digital and social media graphics, and visual content for marketing campaigns, presentations, and communication initiatives. The Graphic Designer will employ brand identity design principles to ensure consistency with brand standards, collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualize and execute creative concepts, research and incorporate current design trends, and deliver high-quality visuals aligned with branding and marketing principles. The role requires preparing comprehensive design documentation and guidelines, maintaining documentation of design stages and changes, and ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and best practices in graphic design. The Graphic Designer will also employ Agile methodologies to manage design projects, participate actively in team meetings and reviews, and contribute to Marcom initiatives that enhance brand recognition and audience engagement. The position requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, alongside strong knowledge of branding, layout, color theory, typography, digital and print media, web design, multimedia content development, animation, Generative AI, and Arabic content development. The role supports DFF initiatives including Museum of the Future, Area 2071, The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution UAE, Dubai Future Accelerators, One Million Arab Coders, Dubai Future Academy, Dubai Future Solutions, Dubai Future Labs, and Dubai Future Forum, contributing to Dubaiās ambition to become a global model for future cities through innovation, foresight, and disruptive thinking.

Key responsibilities
- Design multidisciplinary graphic materials including branding assets, layout design, digital newsletters, data-driven design, infographics, digital and social media graphics, marketing campaign visuals, and presentation materials aligned with brand standards
- Apply brand identity design principles to ensure consistency across all visual outputs while maintaining compliance with graphic design industry standards and best practices
- Collaborate with marketing and Marcom teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute creative design concepts supporting communication and branding initiatives
- Research and incorporate current design trends to maintain relevant, engaging, and innovative branding across digital and print media
- Produce high-quality visuals for marketing campaigns, presentations, and communication projects while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, guidelines, and maintain records of design stages, revisions, and changes
- Manage design projects using Agile methodologies and participate actively in team meetings, reviews, and collaborative planning sessions
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorās degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field
- Demonstrate minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience supported by a strong professional portfolio
- Show proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
- Possess strong knowledge of branding, layout, color theory, typography, and digital and print media design
- Demonstrate familiarity with web design, multimedia content development, animation, and Generative AI as a plus
- Show understanding of marketing and advertising principles and experience working in Agile development environments
- Demonstrate experience with Arabic content development
