Job description
The Vice President - Credit & Execution (Corporate Finance / Investment Banking) role is a front-office leadership position within an international Corporate & Investment Bank in Dubai, focused on leading end-to-end execution of Corporate Finance transactions across a broad range of products including revolving credit facilities (RCFs), term loans, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) financings, trade finance structures, derivatives, and structured solutions. The role requires preparing high-quality credit applications, financial analysis, transaction summary sheets, and client-facing presentations while conducting detailed financial modelling, scenario analysis, and sector-specific credit assessments to support transaction structuring and approval processes. The candidate will engage directly with corporate clients to gather financial and business information, negotiate key deal terms, and maintain continuous communication throughout transaction execution. The role involves coordinating internal approvals across multiple functions including Credit, Risk, Legal, KYC, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Derivatives, CPD, LCM, Syndications, and other product teams, ensuring alignment with internal governance and risk frameworks. The position also includes leading LMA and ISDA documentation negotiations with clients and external counsel, representing the execution team in internal credit and risk committees, and articulating deal rationale, credit considerations, and risk perspectives. The role requires ensuring compliance with internal governance standards while maintaining a strong client-first execution approach, operating in fast-paced GCC markets, and managing multiple live transactions simultaneously across diverse stakeholders and complex corporate finance structures.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of corporate finance transactions including RCFs, term loans, M&A financings, trade finance, derivatives, and structured solutions while ensuring adherence to internal governance and risk frameworks
- Prepare detailed credit applications, financial models, transaction summary sheets, and client presentations supporting transaction approval and execution processes
- Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis, and sector-specific credit assessments to evaluate transaction feasibility, risk exposure, and structuring options
- Engage directly with corporate clients, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, and sovereign wealth funds to collect financial data, negotiate deal terms, and maintain ongoing communication throughout execution
- Coordinate internal approvals across Credit, Risk, Legal, KYC, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Derivatives, CPD, LCM, Syndications, and other product teams ensuring alignment and timely execution
- Lead negotiation of LMA and ISDA documentation with clients and external legal counsel to ensure accurate and compliant transaction structuring
- Represent execution teams in internal credit and risk committees, presenting deal rationale, financial analysis, and risk considerations in a clear and structured manner
- Manage multiple live transactions simultaneously across complex corporate finance structures while ensuring timely delivery under tight deadlines in GCC markets
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate strong track record leading large corporate finance transactions within an international banking environment including structured lending and investment banking products
- Possess strong foundation in financial modelling, credit analysis, corporate finance theory, and LMA/ISDA documentation interpretation and negotiation
- Demonstrate excellent client communication skills with experience engaging corporates, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, and sovereign wealth funds
- Demonstrate deep understanding of GCC financial markets and ability to operate under tight timelines with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously across complex credit and structured finance environments
- Hold a degree qualification with CFA or MBA preferred for advanced financial and investment banking expertise
- Demonstrate experience coordinating cross-functional approvals across credit, risk, legal, compliance, and product teams in investment banking environment
- Demonstrate capability to operate in high-pressure front-office environment with strong execution discipline and attention to governance and risk controls
