Job description
Carry out trading instructions from ADIB Securities UAE/US/KSA trading clients ethically and efficiently, acting as the first point for executing and managing clientsâ orders during trading sessions in local and international markets in compliance with regulatory and stock exchange rules. Increase sales opportunities by actively introducing new clients via calls and meetings, setting appointments, and nurturing relationships with Retail, High Net Worth, and Institutional customers while adhering to ADIB and ADIB Securities operational procedures and policies. Maintain strict compliance with client onboarding documents, KYC, AML/CTF rules and regulations, and keep abreast of regulations from DFM, ADX, SEC, CMA, and SCA. Promote ADIBS US trading capabilities through cross-sell within bank departments, monitor market and commission structures, analyze competition, and recommend actions to increase trading income and the companyâs share of each clientâs total trading portfolio. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving grievances in a timely manner, responding immediately to customer instructions, representing the organization professionally at forums, and documenting all correspondence with Market Control, customers, and others. Identify and manage significant risks (financial, operational, market, reputational), monitor customer accounts to ensure settlements per market control norms, follow up on overdue settlement trades within market control rules, and manage time and work duties efficiently while maintaining high ethical standards. Support audit and governance by recording and filing correspondence, assisting team leaders in day-to-day tasks, emphasizing professional and ethical conduct, and helping identify and satisfy training requirements in coordination with the Head of the desk/Trading Manager, with reporting lines to the Head of Institutional Sales and Global Markets.

- Actively introduce new clients through calls and meetings, set up meetings with potential clients, and understand their wishes and concerns.
- Manage client relations as instructed by the reporting manager and promote new business through ongoing customer contacts.
- Adhere to ADIB and ADIB Securities operational procedures and policies and ensure immediate responses to all customer instructions.
- Keep track of new trading rules and regulations and increase industry knowledge, maintaining compliance with client onboarding documents and KYC.
- Maintain continuous compliance with AML/CTF rules and regulations and keep abreast of DFM, ADX, SEC, CMA, and SCA regulations.
- Monitor the market and commission structures, analyze competition, and make recommendations to increase trading income.
- Increase the companyâs share of each clientâs total trading portfolio and effectively grow affluent client trading activity.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer grievances in a timely manner while representing the organization professionally at various forums.
- Assist team leaders in day-to-day tasks and liaise with team members to better serve clientsâ interests and cross-sell ADIBS US trading capabilities.
- Identify and manage significant risks (financial, operational, market, reputational) and monitor customer accounts to ensure settlements as per market control norms.
- Actively follow up on overdue settlement trades and take action within market control rules, recording and filing all correspondence with Market Control and customers.
- Manage time and work-related duties efficiently, maintain high ethical standards, and contribute to a healthy work environment.
- Support supervisory expectations by helping identify and satisfy employee training requirements with the Head of the desk/Trading Manager and promote professional and ethical conduct.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree required.
- Minimum of 3â5 yearsâ direct and progressive experience in UAE/US/KSA equity trading and management of a trading desk.
- Trading and advisory experience in US equity markets with willingness to work US trading hours (evening UAE time).
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant investment databases.
- Strong time-management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Ability to comply with ADIB and ADIB Securities operational procedures/policies and regulatory requirements (KYC, AML/CTF, DFM, ADX, SEC, CMA, SCA).
- Experience monitoring customer accounts, ensuring settlements per market control norms, and following up on overdue settlement trades.
