Job description

In this role you will oversee the technical support management of all maintenance, projects, and improvement-related activities in an assigned section or field at Petro Rabigh. You are responsible for reviewing and consolidating technical documentation and evaluating the undertaking of regular audits of engineering support jobs to ensure compliance with international engineering standards. You will review and consolidate engineering procedures, supervising the implementation of these procedures within plant equipment operation limits to prevent mis-operations and human errors in daily plant operations. Your responsibilities include ensuring the assigned section's engineering tasks meet corporate safety and environmental policy and standards, as well as implementing cost saving activities as per the section's cost saving plan. You are responsible for improving manufacturing facilities to create safer and more competitive plants. In this role you will apply technical expert level knowledge to review and guide the team on Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Studies, and SIL Assessment and Validation, and you will review and guide the team to optimize the Preventive Maintenance Program. Your background includes a first degree in engineering or a relevant science major, along with a minimum of 15 years of technical experience in engineering within a refinery or petrochemical setting.
