Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of the business areaās budget and manage financial performance against the budget
- Develop investment products by conducting research to ensure profitability and competitiveness
- Conceptualize, propose and implement new product propositions and strategic marketing alliances
- Monitor portfolio composition, usage patterns, cost of funds and yields
- Manage customer communication collateral and term sheets in compliance with guidelines
- Recommend and implement improvements to policies, procedures and processes
- Identify opportunities for organizational and departmental change initiatives
- Apply ADCB Service Standards in all customer interactions
- Manage self and team performance, setting objectives and providing feedback
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance reviews and development plans
Experience & skills
- At least 8 years of experience in banking or financial institutions
- Bachelorās Degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
- Accredited Financial Analyst or Certified Investment Professional or CFA/CIIA
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM), ICA Specialist or Certificate in Conduct Risk
- Knowledge of banking operations
- Numerical and financial analysis skills
- Intermediate Excel, Word and MS Office skills
