Job description
The Brand Specialist – Amazon Vendor Services role is part of Amazon’s Strategic Vendor Services and AVS teams, providing a comprehensive suite of services to support Amazon’s most strategic brands across all key areas of retail business within the e-commerce environment. The role acts as the main point of contact for Tier 1 vendors supplying top brands on Amazon and focuses on working backwards from the customer to identify inputs that grow brand performance and improve retail outcomes. The position involves owning end-to-end brand relationships, defining joint business plans, auditing performance metrics, and driving continuous enhancement and innovation across the AVS and SVS programs in the MENA region. Brand Specialists deliver business advice through deep financial analysis and reporting, manage product selection and launches, improve availability through process and operational improvements, analyze traffic channels to support marketing and merchandising initiatives, and execute promotional activities to improve conversion and customer journey on Amazon. The role collaborates extensively with internal teams including Media, Marketing, Finance, Supply, Operations, Category, Product, Technical Support, and Tech teams, leveraging analytical tools, data systems, and insights to improve pricing, visibility, availability, and overall vendor performance. The position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and provides 360-degree exposure to the e-commerce industry, enabling diverse career development paths while contributing to the scalability and efficiency of Amazon Vendor Services.

Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end relationships with Tier 1 vendors and top brands supplying products on Amazon
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted business advisor for vendors across assigned categories
- Partner internally with retail, marketing, finance, supply, operations, media, category, product, and technical teams to define priorities and operational goals aligned to brand needs
- Define, develop, sell, implement, and evaluate joint business plans to deliver or exceed vendor improvement targets
- Provide business advice through deep financial analysis and reporting to identify growth and performance opportunities
- Manage product selection by supporting new product launches and improving product discoverability
- Improve availability by driving process improvement and operational excellence to reduce costs, defects, and lead times
- Analyze traffic channels and support the development and execution of marketing and merchandising campaigns
- Plan and execute promotional activities to improve conversion rates and customer journey on Amazon
- Audit metrics regularly to drive quality of the AVS and SVS experience and deliver performance targets
- Manage pricing, visibility, and availability to optimize brand performance
- Translate category business plans into actionable execution plans
- Turn raw data and insights into actionable conclusions using analytical tools and integrated data systems
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve products, services, processes, systems, and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional and tech teams to implement continuous improvement and innovation initiatives across AVS in MENA
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain with a strong academic background
- Demonstrate 0–4 years of experience in key account management, project management, customer-facing roles, or commercial roles
- Apply advanced MS Office skills with mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Possess experience in multinational companies, preferably within FMCG, e-commerce, or digital environments
- Exhibit proficiency in English with Arabic language skills considered an advantage
- Show experience in process improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML
- Bring experience in digital and e-commerce environments
- Have exposure to brand management at portfolio or regional level
- Demonstrate ability to manage large volumes of data effectively
- Offer previous key account management experience as an added advantage
