Job description
The HR Executive at Al-Futtaim is responsible for facilitating the onboarding process, coordinating employee recognition and well-being programs, supporting HR communications, and handling HR administrative functions such as organizational structure alignment in SAP, requisitions, and payroll-related activities. The role supports the Head of HR and works closely with line managers and HRBPs to ensure smooth HR operations across the business. The position also manages blue-collar staff grievances, assists with technical assessments and interviews, and ensures timely execution of HR initiatives, especially within construction, MEP, and facilities management environments.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure smooth process of arrival and integration of new joiners within AFET business.
- Coordinate valuable orientation programmes and assess new employee needs for office and system setup.
- Follow up with Line Managers to develop structured orientation plans.
- Liaise with UAE TA Partner to schedule candidates for Technical Assessments and interviews.
- Meet and greet candidates, explain Technical Assessment process, and collect necessary documents.
- Coordinate HR communications including new joiner announcements, covid guidelines, HR updates, and engagement initiatives.
- Develop organization charts, attend junior-level interviews, compile overtime sheets, and organize HR events.
- Roll-out recognition programmes, collect nominations, coordinate judging panels, and manage award ceremonies.
- Maintain nomination trackers, organize award vouchers, and manage distribution.
- Cascade well-being agenda, organize meetings with well-being champions, and implement activities.
- Support HRBPs in maintaining real-time organization charts and collect data for headcount forecasts and manpower budgets.
- Validate position data, cost centers, and reporting lines.
- Act as contact for blue-collar grievances, log and resolve complaints, and escalate serious issues.
- Ensure signed employment contracts are shared with outsourced companies for payroll processing.
- Resolve salary disputes, coordinate offer process, and monitor accommodation status.
- Support Divisional Manager with daily operations and ensure timely payroll activities.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in HR or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative function in a large-sized company.
- Experience in construction, MEP, engineering, outsourcing, or facilities management.
- Handled large employee movements, mobilization/demobilization of project sites.
- Experience managing outsourced employees.
- Basic level supervisory skills required to perform job effectively.
